Popular pitmaster, restaurateur and tv host Melissa Cookston wanted to take her product branding in a different direction. She desired a style that reflected her Delta Mississippi roots along with influence from Memphis. After several rounds of drafts and variations, Melissa decided on a colorful collage that I created.
For the rebranding of all Melissa Cookston products, I painted original images and edited them in Photoshop. The collage can now be seen on everything from rubs and sauces to menus and promos. I also developed the typography and layout design for new products in the Melissa Cookston line. I was able to gain new skills as I designed the full layout for bottles, pouches and bags.
